Yes, our environmental policies have been a burden to mining.

A good part of that is population growth. We seem to be on this unsustainable population growth pattern. In a hundred years the U.S. will probably have 1 BILLION people. And they'll ALL be living to 120 on average.

You figure that's God's Plan?

Maybe God's Plan is that he "screwed up" with us and he'll wait till we burn out the planet and then start over to do it right?

Once the CO2 levels in the oceans rise to calamitous levels we should see God's Plan go into high gear......
