Right, but I was speaking to the effect of contango and backwardation on leveraged ETFs. If the ETF is merely tracking a basket of representative stocks (not leveraged) it will not be affected. Which is why many people are now "getting it" and switching out of leveraged ETF's into "tracking" ETFs. Jim
