Hi Tom, very interesting, a "Volquardsen" siting, I called him at is Greenwich or Stamford Home back in Q 2 of 2002 and he called back and spoke to my partner about 3 months later.

I recall him telling me that their is a statue of a "Volquardsen" on one the Hawaiian islands as a great great grandfather had been an explorer and engaged in commerce in some of these far off points of call. I hope he's feeling well. I know he had a few health issues similar to mine, and he's 10 years older than moi. btw.... just turned 45 on Sunday Feb 15th. I've concluded that I really want to get married if the opportunity with a woman who can understand my extricities and unusual areas of interest. My Parents have been married for 46 years, and are going strong, both of my Grandparents had long lasting marriages.

So I believe in Marriage and I lament a couple of times in my twenties where I was engaged and especially with my Australian finance Pam White, I developed cold feet or was concerned that getting married in Sydney would ultimately subsume my time spent in the US and the ability to be a part of US cultural developments, whether or the 4 year political cycle, the big 3 sports seasons, the differences in cultural coverage and things that America's take for granted that meld together to make them Americans.

Neil Simon had a play and then a move entitled "Second Act" or else "Act Two" I think I'm looking for that.
