That article makes it sound like there was no national debt, social security, medicare or medicaid deficits under Clinton which is completley false. All of those trillions were promised as entitlements under previous Democratic administrations and Congresses and amt to the vast majority of the debt. We've all known about the the mess. Every President has talked about it but nothing is done. I think we all know what's going to happen. Look at what Dascle added to the health part of the stimulus bill. Basically socialized medicine for the medicare recipients...meaning if you're old, there is a cost-benefit of getting treatments. Total BS. And as far as SS goes, instead of admitting it was a legal Madoff Ponzi scheme, they will say that if you paid in and in the Govt opinion you don't "need" your money, you don't get it back. They will say it was an insurance plan and NOT an investment in Govt bonds. I already think that a third national party is going to start having a much easier time of winning elections. The backlash is going to be enormous. Theer will be protests, riots, civil disobeience, many elected officials ousted, some jailed, etc.
