Anyone who has purchased one of the appliances listed in that article can attest to the poor performance of them. Our new washing machine sucks compared to our old one. And consumer loses not only in the higher cost of these so-called energy efficient appliances, they usually consume more energy because you have to use the appliance more to get satisfactory results.

But hey! Libs are happy. They got what they wanted.

Too bad we got stuck with it too.
