Math, i think brinker relies on "technicals" to buy and sell and they let him down. if one actually views stocks as investments and discounts risk, they would not have recommended buying when brinker was recommending it. in fact, they probably would've been mostly out of the market except for some "i can't believe people are so stupid to pay $10 for a $3 item money" just in case they fell all over themselves to pay $12 for that $3 shirt. that was the situation i was in. i love this market now, though. it is much, much more rational.
