Regarding ING preferreds,

I actually already see Ex-Dates in MarketWatch for the ING preferreds with dividends in March, which implies to me those are already declared. Not impossible, but very unlikely that they will not be paid.

The worry I have is the recent G8 discussion of Bank Nationalization. The risk is you get one divvy, but then your preferred ends up worthless at some point after that. Same with RBC.

You guys are the international experts, so you would know better than I would. It just scares me too much to have much of a position in these (or weak US bank preferreds for that matter)
