Michael, > and i thought the lost decade just ended when bush left town.

That was eight years of liberals talking down the economy, claiming we never left the recession of 2001 despite a steady economic expansion post-9/11. There were even polls taken during those years where people thought we were still in a recession, even as the GDP continued to grow.

What would you define as "success"? Trying to postpone a contraction that frankly I think is overdue?

Of course, it's easy for me to say that, since I'm not like RW who employs people. But you'll have to pardon me if I don't trust someone who walks like a politician, talks like a politician, and looks like a politician.

After all, politicians in Sacramento just succeeded in raising taxes on all Californians. Whatever "stimulus" money The One is sending our way is going straight into the coffers of Sacramento. What kind of sympathy am I going to get for that? None. Just more brain-dead comments like "Oh that Ten, whining like all the other right-wingnuts."
