That is clearly racist. You must see the difference between this cartoon and the other.

Why depict Obama as a crazed chimp? Have you ever seen Obama act like a crazed chimp? A-rod was caught taking steroids.....would it have made any more sense depicting Obama as A-rod on steroids? It was only later, after the artist commented differently, that the Post came up with the deranged chimp scenario.

But putting that aside, every one and their brother knows that whites have had a long history of depicting blacks as monkeys. You saw the T worn this summer at McCain rallies. Why would any newspaper risk putting out a cartoon like the one the NY Post put out yesterday? Wake up Michael..the right has declared war on those who voted for Obama. I don't think its appropriate to give the benefit of the doubt in this situation.
