from my left wing son. Sort of finds common ground here like JTA. MY son is a new yorker and like me knows the post better than you folks. Sure the cartoonist could be a racist and the post missed it. But i think below is a fair way to look at this.

"I think the Post is very right wing (not Rush Limbaugh, more like Boehner). That being said if you can read a cartoon without racist connotations you should. I think the cartoon was probably not racist in intent and can easily be seen to be that the stimulus legislation was written by idiots/chimps/monkeys and now there is one less idiot/chimp/monkey to write legislation. That being said, the intent could have been racist and regardless of the intent I don't blame the left for trying to take down the Fox News/Post"
