"How exactly are American women empowered when abortion is deployed to prevent the existence of American girls? Population experts have documented for years the use of abortion for sex selection in regions of the world where sons are more highly prized than daughters. I had thought for a while, the rarity of girls would improve the value and prestige of being a girl where that is taking place. That hasn't happened so far. The sex slave trade and human trafficking business has boomed. The families of wealthy young men pay poor people to produce a girl who will marry the boy. A purchased bride is the closest thing to human property I can imagine, in modern times. It could still increase the value and power of women in the US though because young American girls are starting to disappear (being persuaded to marry into foreign culture or selling themselves in the old fashioned way one guy at a time). Those who remain American true and blue, pure in heart and soul, are becoming a rare treasure able to twist the rest of us around their little fingers.
