I know I voted for him because as I said before, I knew there wasn't a snowball's chance of getting some new direction here by voting for McSame, etal and I thought there just might be with Obama. It was worth a shot.. I knew I couldn't write my or your name in enough times to do any good and sitting it out wouldn't accomplish anything either except for some self satisfaction of saying I never voted for Obama..:)

As I have said too, I supported and caucused for Dennis Kucinich although I knew I didn't have a chance there either but I had to start out somewhere... I didn't work the election this year for the first time in many, many years although pressured by my friends. That's about it.. I wasn't dealt a very good hand to play this time around from my pov but I tried to play it to the best of my judgement..:(

But one GD thing,I'm not sticking around with my support if he continues like he has(I am NOT a dumb ass partisian like the the wingnuts were with their unwavering support of Bush as he more and more took US down the road to where we are at NOW). Obama's appointments like RE, TG, etc. and his policies, mainly his war and Israel stances have really bothered me... I have written a lot about these subjects on SI since he took over..

As for his lying, I didn't listen or read about it close enough to have a definitive answer but I can imagine whatever he said it was in such a way that it can be twisted in ANY direction in the future as needed..
