Situations like this make me gloomy. A few years back, I read an article explaining why gold was dead as the safe haven, to be replaced by currencies. The Swiss are talking about selling their gold reserves. Leaving the dollar(which there seems to be plenty of -g-) as the safe haven. Seems to me that the whole planet is cruising for a fall!!
