That is interesting, but if I were going to play this, I might be more inclined to go with WiMax. Reading the article, it was almost as if we were talking about something from about 3-5 years ago. DSL comparisons, etc. The structure of the network seems to involve a lot, perhaps as much as what it will take to put together WiMax networks and BPL seems to only fit that extreme rural niche as you suggest. I'm looking at CLWR but every time I think about going into it, I read that the economic environment is going to cause them to slow down for a year or two. That will provide more of a green light for the big moneyed players Vz and T, etc., to move up their LTE networks into what had been open field for WiMax.
