You have no idea how many times the expansion of government was justified with that false dilemma. "You like roads, don't you? Law enforcement? Schools? Driver's licenses?"

Those who make that argument then pat each other on the back for successfully deploying that logical fallacy in this pissing match.

Even the pollsters are getting into it. The question is always posed as "Do you believe in doing something over doing nothing?" They never ask what exactly should be done, even as a multiple-choice question. That's too "hard," we have to trust that The One, with the help of that dynamic duo Pelosi and Reid, knows what he is doing.

Cause you know, he's smarter than Bush, so he obviously can fix this mess!
