What I thought might have happened - perhaps the person on the phone was considering the latter (still, of course, the rep might have been a doof).
It depends on how things are presented, even when you are in the right (as we all know in our media-bizarre society)

Well from my first response I believed that Doren had presented the problem as it was a disk error and not I'm trying to steal anything. There are a lot of doofs working for Apple in the low end support and retail markets. These people are low paid and mostly kids.
