I just finished listening to earnings conference calls, ASML, KLAC, NVLS, AMAT and semis, ALTR, XLNX, LLTC, MXIM. The semi-equips guys say, "worse they have ever seen" and "no visibility". They don't get paid to be negative, so I am inclined to believe them.
