<<<Yes, it would. But none of the stimulus bill is designated for that according to AP.>>>

But that is just where you are wrong, when you consider that in the stimulus bill there is $8 billion dollars allocated to enhance our rail service in this country. AND guess what states are getting this funding and just understand the reason that AMTRAK currently has NO rail service on the Sunset Limited that goes directly from Texas to Florida( you have to go through Chicago,DC, and down the East Coast)is that the bridges in Louisiana and Mississippi were DESTROYED by Katrina and these states will get their part of $8billion to replace BRIDGES destroyed by Katrina and thus restore Amtrak service in these states.

As for what I'm babbling about-- just that you must think YOU and your children/grandkids are second class citizens to what Bush thought about ALL Iraqi citizens. Do I have to hold your hand or can you find out WHAT Articles 27 and 32, the US government funded to the approaching tune of nearly $1 trillion dollars, allowed the Iraq Constitution to be so generous to ALL their citizens. I'm shocked that you have so much scorn for your family considering your tax dollar is being used to provide the Iraqis so much largesse at your expense

If I may! Can I direct your attention to a minor subject? When we invaded Iraq, a few years ago, we were told that Iraq oil would pay for all this high adventure. Considering it is now 2009 and the US installed Iraq government has started cutting deals with foreign oil companies to exploit all their oil, could you quickly tell me how many United States of America oil companies have been included in the largesse from the Iraqi government. The now sub-sub-question is a simple one....the first foreign contract that was issued for the most lucrative oil field in Iraq went to a particular country, so could you also tell me HOW many soldiers this country has or had fighting on our side in Iraq and what amount of money has been given to support our effort in Iraq. Why don't you have a problem with United States of America soldiers dying in Iraq, protecting oil wells that are producing oil that is shipped from the near by Basra seaport that we are also protecting. Why are you so generous with your tax dollars to help other nations, considering we invaded Iraq in the first place so we could get their oil.

As for your supercilious interjection of environment issues, I do have concerns, based on direct conversation with someone that I highly respect his direct observations of this issue. A person who has a MD, MS in Engineering, Dean at one of the country's largest universities, a combat flight record of 165 mission, once held the record for time in space...basically, just a stupid clod-hopper as compared to your intelligence level. The two things that I remember him telling me about his observations from his space flight were...1) If you don't think duct tape is a good product, then all you have to do is spend 4 months on the MIR to find out that it can be used to hold together a space craft. 2) If you don't think our Earth's environment is in bad shape, view it from several hundred miles in space. In the span of his 5 flights he also indicated that each time the view was worse than the one before as to what could be seen.......but then you have probably made 10 space flights and flew 200 combat missions when YOU wore the uniform of the United States of America military. Did you look as spiffy as I did in our dress uniforms? What color was your uniform.....piss as green? Surely it wasn't a uniform with one of those neat kerchief's with a BSA knot!

Considering he is also a former United States of America Marine Corp. officer, I'm sure your would enjoy your conversation where you told him he was just plain stupid about his environmental concerns. How much are ass- tranplants in your neck of the woods?

Come on! Stay on task with your response. Don't sulk and just want to take your ball and disappear on the short bus.
