RE: "Now, we are in uncharted territory." Agreed. We could be on the brink of the next Great Depression or we could be 6 to 9 months from an economic recovery. One probably shouldn't be surprised by either scenario. RE: "My recommended strategy is to wait for strong indications that the bottom of the macroeconomic mess has passed and the the visibility for a recovery is reasonably clear." I'm guessing that it will be quite a while before anyone will be able to say that the visibility for a recovery is clear. Maybe 12 months or more. But then, it will be similar to the discovery of the current recession, when we found out definitely that we were in a recession months after it actually started. Best wishes, I2
