How close are you to 60/60/60 on HDL,Trig and LDL? Blood Sugar around 90?

My HDL and Trig are on target, an almost perfect 1.05/1 ratio. Neither has ever been a particular problem. My LDL, however, was 108 (computed--I had the plain vanilla blood tests this time, not the VAP or NMR). It's been sitting within a couple of points of that for about two years so nothing I've done in the last seven months has made a bit of difference. It had been considerably higher prior to two years ago. Statins brought it down.

My blood sugar is something else again. It was a disappointing 109/5.7. I was expecting better because after I dropped the first 35 pounds my home testing started showing normal readings during the day although my glucose still continued to go up overnight. I was expecting the normal daytime readings mixed with the abnormal night ones, therefore, to cause my A1c average to go down somewhat but it was up from 5.5. (My pattern is 120 something in the morning, a bit higher after my workout, then dropping into the seventies or eighties after I've been home on the computer for an hour and staying down the rest of the day. I still don't have a clue why I have such an odd daily glucose pattern.

P.S. I'm glad Dr Davis mentioned the peas to you. Now maybe it will register. <g>
