Ray Barrick wont walk they have to much invested,they allready have a mine & mill close by, producing at app 220 u.s per and the geology of the moneta property is almost identical. They dropped nufort because the ore body does not go onto their property to the south of the discovery,they did get good results on nufort property to the west and part of the ore body may also continue in that direction ,and would probably be exploited at some future time, barrick knows what it has on moneta and wants to concentrate on that,they also had an option payment due to nufort of app 200,000 rather than pay it and not do anything with the property for some time they probably decided to drop it for now.there is gold on nufort and the property as far as I am concerned is very very good with a lot of potential. the next step with barrick will probably be putting in an all season road, then the sinking of an exploration shaft that would logicaly be their next program on the property. in the unlikely event that barrick should walk I doubt there would be a shortage of suiters .
