From the CIA World Fact Book regarding Taiwan: Terrain: eastern two-thirds mostly rugged mountains; flat to gently rolling plains in west (facing China) Elevation extremes: lowest point: South China Sea 0 m highest point: Yu Shan 3,952 m (up to 12,000 ft. above MSL) cia.gov maps.howstuffworks.com Sounds like a good application for wind power. If this accord comes about it would be interesting to see if APWR makes some moves to take advantage of it. John .
