You may not trade the technicals and there may come a point where the masses in fact stop doing so but I don't think we are anywhere near that point. Only when those widely used parameters on charts quit working do to the possibly strong fundamentals you point to overwhelm the "charts". Will we ever see that turn? Possibly, but that will be one ugly time in the western world and uglier everywhere else. We are however getting more and more hints that such a period maybe around the corner...
