I get 3-4 grams a day from sashimi and I take fish oil irregularly on top of that.

I keep the 11 fish oil capsules I take each day in a dish by me and pop them like jellybeans. Gives me over 3K of Omega 3's.

I hope you are taking SloNiacin. The prescription Nisapan is exactly the same, only much more expensive if your insurance doesn't cover it. The Doctors think it's better because they have a Kos rep pushing it.

A lot of Doctors seem to think Niacin is "old fashioned." As long as your annual liver tests stay stable, there is no reason not to jump your Niacin to 2 or 3K a day. You may get a flush now and then, but that just shows you it's working. I take mine with my dinner. Once a day is easier on your liver. Davis finds it definately helps cut Lp(a).

It is very difficult to reduce Lp(a) because so much is still unknown about it. The shotgun approach is your best bet.
