Mr Market is the only voice the bums cannot control.

With regard to taxation - gentlemen (and gentleladies) we have a huge problem. We simply cannot pay for all of the government we have put in place. Frankly we are in a hell of a mess.

On top of everything else we have two huge demographic problems.

First - there are old people like me who are looking to take SS at sometime and Medicare when I am 65 because I must - the company ends corporate coverage at 65. The financials of this are beyond redemption - how do we do it?

Second - we have a growing underclass that must be brought up the economic ladder. How do we do that? We simply cannot have a wave of immigrants taking the bottom rung of the economic ladder. We need to get our own people on the ladder.

I simply do not see a solution. I fear we will have to essentially demilitarize as we cannot afford our current military. We will have to means test everything. We will have to let failures fail.

The whole situation is a complete mess. We with financial resources are going to have to pay more. Those without are going to have to realize there is no free lunch. Bad businesses have to fail. The major problem with GM is the UAW. The UAW and other unions have bought and paid for the Obama administration. Will he have the guts to tell them they cannot be treated better than the average American.

Hell of a mess. Only the markets will force a resolution.
