I just laugh and laugh when I think of Madoff. The way he made people imagine he was doing them a special favor by taking their money. The way he wore matching watches and wedding rings. The way he insisted on total order and immaculate cleanliness in his surroundings. He is a classic for the ages. It is a terrible shame about the nonprofits that entrusted their money to him.
