I camped at Paradise in 1968. Back in those days, the campground was right there, near the Visitor's Center and not too far a walk from the Ice Caves. Since that time, the NPS realized how fragile the alpine meadows are and closed the campground.

If my memory is accurate, it was very foggy most of the time we were there.
