Hey Ted, I'd actually approve of a high-speed rail between Los Angeles and Las Vegas. That is, after we build one between Seattle and San Diego. LA-Vegas will be built well before SD-Seattle. It annoys the hell out of me that we are so far behind other first world countries in this mode of transportation.
