It's grim out there, we have to help each other..

had a neighbor (retired and recently moved to neighborhood) come to the door the other day with a questionaire to fill out for the association....asks questions about special skills (plumbing, electrical, carpentry, etc) how many days water are stored, how much food stored, etc....he made it a point that this wasn't related to LDS (this is s. utah) and he is from S. CA...so i asked him why now, and he gave me some nonsense about preparedness for earthquakes....then i said, 'aren't you a bit more concerned about civil unrest?' considering what is going on in the economic landscape? that's when he opened up and said yes, but also said he considered this to be one of the safer places should that event happen (to which i agreed)

get to know your neighbors if you don't already
