To Mark, BLOCK, & rest of day traders;

First time to check out this site and I had a couple of questions that needed help with.

I am a day-trader, anywhere between a couple of hours to a few days or sometimes a couple of weeks. Minute-trading only when I make a huge mistake and have to get out before it is too late.

I am looking for more info. on SOES trading not from a trading pit but form home or ..

Any idea? I hear commission cost is around $40/trade. Is that right? What do you think about Block? When will Dallas office open?

Also, I am interested in sharing ideas about stocks for short-term & day trading. I don't mind posting here regularly (maybe everyday) about stocks on the move but I would like to also see others join. I have some reservations about this that I can talk about later.
