I did not CHARACTERIZE the spending mix of any President --- I SIMPLY POINTED OUT THE HISTORICAL FACTS of what happened to the federal debt.

Excessive spending ---from whatever source! --- ('excessive' when related to the economy's growth rate) is BAD BAD BAD for federal debt.

That is why Reagan and Bush I and Bush II (& the Congresses of their eras), added so very much to the nation's indebtedness.
