So, you're citing the Swiss system as your model?

The Swiss, who receive inferior health care quality to those in the United States, yet pay 12% of their GDP (second only to America's 15%) for it.

The Swiss, who actually PAY MORE OUT OF POCKET than Americans do because they can't afford the lower deductible coverage? They actually pay 30% of their health care out of pocket.

Their waiting times? Longer than the US.

And the big problem? "A politically defined benefit package is susceptible to influence from special interest groups ... over time the growth in compulsory benefits has absorbed an increasing fraction of the consumers' payment".
