Poor starts are difficult to overcome, no matter what the sport.

Mad, I am in a pick'em contest. Picking Tim Clark to beat Retief Goosen today. Clark has been playing better so far in 2009.

Also, the winner will play Tiger if Tiger wins today.

Deep down, I don't think Goosen wants to play Tiger. Remember
last summer during the US OPEN, Goosen said it looks like Tiger's knee hurts him more on a poor shot rather than a good shot. He winces more after a poor shot. I'm sure Tiger remembers that comment. Of course after the OPEN was over, it was revealed how bad Tiger's injury was. Goosen never said anything after that.

I also remember when Stephen Ames was going to play Tiger in the first round of this match play tournament and he made an innocent comment that Tiger was playing the best and spraying some shots. He thought maybe he had a chance. Well, Tiger beat him 10 and 8 if I recall correctly. I bet Goosen remembers this.

Anyway, do you agree?

I have a meeting to get to. Darn work.
