My buddy for 50 years or so Dr. Henrik Kehlet, also a Professor in Gastro Intestinal surgery, happens to be one of the world foremost experts in the area of fast track out of the hospital after surgery. He is an invited speaker all over the place. He and his international team actually pioneered that business and it has been quite fascinating following the advances through him during the last 20 years or so.
