That said, I believe i-node does have it right, when he claims that quality and efficiency of the US medical system is definitely tops in the world. No doubt about that.
Like my sister, she could have had no charge hip replacement done in denmark where she lives, but the average waiting time would be 7-9 months or so. Add to that, you get good average quality based on standard medical technology so to say. The operation in helsinki, where she went, cost 18,000 Euro with 6 days in the hospital.
