Oh my. Is it possible people are mistaken in their belief that all those gold coins stuffed away in safe deposit boxes will be readily accepted when worthless paper money isn't? Now there's a scary thought. What about regional coin/gun shows as a place to buy or sell? I think I'll visit the next one I see advertised. Platinum makes sense to me. The flood of Fed dollars should have some kind of effect, and it won't take much to move cyclical metals off the floor. I recently bought some TCK for about the same reason you bought SWC and IMPUY. China's on the prowl and TCK sure is cheap.
