Maybe he won't know what it is really about, until he has his own children, is responsible for them in every way....home, clothing, food, medical, and all the etcs. He may be a full time teacher then (it was his choice profession, most probably, so no comments as to whether it was one where he would make a good deal of money or not.)
Most of the folks I know have provided for ourselves and our families, even if the easier way would have been to get government handouts and whine. Most of us grew up believing that type of idea was disgusting and certainly not a sign of a responsible person.
Most of us have saved from our salaries, paid our bills, and never expected anyone to do anything for us. We saved for retirement, instead of taking trips everywhere. We didn't buy TV's or cars or houses until we could afford to do so.
Many of our young people want what we have today, rather than waiting as we did and earn it first before we made the purchases. Quaint idea, I know.
As for being fair to Obama....I truly believe that most Americans want him to succeed. BUT like Rush said, we DON'T want him to succeed with his socialist/fascist beliefs. NOT AT ALL.
Mr. Stock Market doesn't like it at all either, and is taking all the pensions, 401k's, and all other life savings to the cleaners, spitting out what's left, and we see not much to laugh about.
As an example to him, tell him to give you the amount he is saving for the the week. Let's say it is only $10. Then you take it and flush 30-50% of it down the toilet.
How would he feel if that was his life savings? Maybe he wouldn't like socialism then.....
Note, I didn't mention how much the government wants him to "participate with in taxes"...have him throw about 30-50% of his income out the window, and tell Washington to come get it, take it to DC so THEY could give it to whatever and whomever THEY wanted. |
