Ian, I have no idea where you are coming from. This is a highly technical field that you are investing in and if you are short of information on the subject then you can only blame yourself. But please don't blame people who are trying to get information out to those who care.

The two lasers mentioned in the CC were stated as being for high power industrial applications. This implies use in micro-machining. Ken and I are trying to put two and two together to determine that it could be HP buying for inkjet production. We have no confirmation as this is probably not widely publicized. As soon as there is confirmation then it will be posted as such. Until then you should take it as speculation.

I have no information that would suggest that UTEK is involved in this business. It has been reported, however, that HP is tripling its inkjet capacity. Plus we know that HP is banking on this technology to produce higher resolution printers. You decide how relevent it is to Cymer's growth.

Regards,

Tim
