* spending American money on American citizens instead of giving it all away to Iraqis and other countries

$900 M for Hamas in the porkulus bill.

* using diplomacy as a cheaper way to get what we want rather than fighting trillion dollar wars that bankrupt the country

We've never abandoned diplomacy. And Obama and a Democratic Congress is expanding military troops in Afghanistan and sending SF's soldiers into Pakistan.

* recognizing that oil dependency is sinking this country and taking bold steps to diversify our energy sources by incubating renewables

We've been incubating renewables for years.

* recognizing that education, science, and technology are the lifeblood of our power and prosperity and making sizeable investments to bring those back to par

Again, its false that we somehow abandoned science and education.

* realizing that when the economy is in a downward spiral to rival that of the Great Depression, it takes massive government spending to break out of that spiral, but having the foresight to realize we'll need to get back to balanced budgets once the economy is on the path to recovery

Porkulus has a lot in it that will become permanent long term spending. Thats why some governors are rejecting parts of it. It also reverses the welfare reform of the 1990's, extending subsidies encouraging states to sign up more people on welfare. Its absurd to think we're going to increase spending by a couple trillion (or who knows how much?) and then balance the budget a couple years later. Obama is only promising to cut the deficit in half btw. And the bigger this years budget gets, the less that promise amounts to.

* having the only President (Clinton) who actually refused to sign a deficit budget passed by Congress, and as a result, shut the government down until Congress fixed the budget...having the only President who successfully achieved budget surpluses

Never mind the Gingrich run House at the time. And btw at the time, the media accused the Congressional Republicans of shutting down the government.

* having the common sense to realize that the middle class and the American dream are part of the secret sauce that makes our way of life possible and reversing the skew to the wealthy that Bush enacted with his tax cuts

The tax code is very progressive and most income tax is collected from high income folks. This kind of charge is simply a lie.

greatest redistribution of wealth in the history .... the last 8 years from from 99% of American citizens to the top 1%.

A ridiculous lie.
