Buyers shouldn't have taken loans they didn't understand or could afford, and nobody should be bailing out those who made such risky loans. There is no reason to recapitalize entities who are essentially bankrupt today from risky lending and trading in credit default swaps. Protect the depositors money and that is all. Let the investors lost everything. Let the lender lose everything. Let the buyers lose their homes.
