Nah, that was my final speculation. I got what I needed to get from Wall Street in 1999/00, so although it was a significant bet, it has no real effect on my lifestyle or future plans, which are fairly modest. I'll send my kids to state University, keep driving used Fords, and maybe I'll retire seven years early instead of 15--no complaints. Go back to posts in late 1999--it was a delusion to think that these companies would do something. 95% never had a chance. Wall Street made it seem real. Of course the bigger lie was banking! However...if there is a hell, more bankers will be heading there than biotech scientists.
