You can call me a hypocrite and I can call you a hypocrite, and we'd both be right, but we'd both end up right back where we started. Is that really productive?

It's not too complicated to say that there is way too much debt in the economy right now. It's not too complicated to see what $1.75 trillion in deficit spending is intended to accomplish.

I was hoping Obama could use his charisma and his political capital to push forth painful but badly needed solutions. Instead, he's spending it trying to justify the bailout of banks and catering to a public demanding, "Where's mine?"
