HBO's "Battle for Tobacco Road" is a great documentary on the ACC basketball rivalry between Duke and North Carolina. Watch it if you can. It works on several levels for someone who loves great rivalries but is a non-basketball follower. I suspect those who follow basketball will like it too. bleacherreport.com P.S BTW, I did not comment on the Hokies' great win in the the Orange Bowl because I was speechless and dumbfounded for so long. After the first quarter of the first game or the season, I doubted the Fighting Gobblers would win four football games all season long. I was wrong. And the players learned a lot. Great football season. I wonder when VaTech will name a stadium, field, building, quad or erect a statue or monument for Coach Beamer. Maybe they could at least embed a stepping stone to greatness with a star for Coach beamer in the tunnel or main stadium entrance like Hollyood's Walk of Stars. Go Hokies!
