By Mass High Tech Staff
Thursday, February 26, 2009

Beverly-based LocatePlus Holdings Corp. has removed James Fields from the role of president, CEO, acting CFO and treasurer, effective immediately. The company gave no reason for Fields’ dismissal.

LocatePlus (Pink Sheets: LPHC) has made former vice president of the company Geoffrey Lee the interim CEO, president and acting treasurer. Lee began working for LocatePlus in July 2007 as vice president of online services before moving to company vice president in January 2008. Prior to joining LocatePlus, Lee worked as president of LocatePlus’ wholly owned subsidiary Entersect.

LocatePlus’ board of directors has begun a search for a CEO and CFO, while a subcommittee of the board plans to review candidates.

Beverly-based LocatePlus Holding develops Internet databases used in homeland security, anti-terrorism and crime-fighting. The company was founded in 1996 as Worldwide Information Inc. and changed its name in 1999.
