Greed, meaning desire for income and wealth, is the largest motivating factor for good in the world.

But its also a large enough motivation to encourage plenty of bad things.

And no one is requiring bad business decisions.

Not actually true, but the real problem isn't as much requiring bad decisions as incentivising them, and making them look like good decisions.
