baloney, $1,000 was always THE magic number. Do you get CNBC up where you live? They hate gold. Every day they say if you are long gold you are short America. So you suppose that the US Govt wants gold closing over 1,000.00? Go ahead and tell us that this doesn't matter to them and they will just let it happen without a fight. You don't believe that and you know it. Any novice investor in gold knows this is a fact.
