TWC, I like the programable logic group a lot and thoght Xilinx and Altera were overpriced and Actel looked interesting at the lower PE. However Xilinx and Altera have dropped so much recently, that yesterday I sold my ACTL and bought XLNX. If you go to : stock.smart.com they are showing the following PEs Altera 25 Xilinx 22 Actel 18 With Altera and Xilnx so cheap I don't think it makes sense now to buy Actel; I would recommend Xilinx as they seem to have a lot of new products, improved software, and the news and Xilinx thread seems very positive lately.
