I love flying Ryanair. It's the best travel I've ever had. It was much more luxurious to fly first class from London back to Auckland a couple of decades ago, with carved ice vodka coolers [which I declined so it was wasted on me] and all the other frippery. Fortunately I wasn't paying the bill and I have never been able to justify it on my own account. My hourly rate is lots less than the extra cost.

Ryanair is great because it's the cheapest and best way to get from A to B. It's pleasant too because they herd the crowd well and keep in cheap by stopping the stupidity.

If people are late, they don't fly and lose their money. They don't cause delays with lots of baggage because they have to pay for it. The queues are fast.

The pilots fly the aircraft efficiently and skillfully.

They don't sit around revving the engine while they goof around checking dials. They accelerate onto the runway with the checks all done on the way to take off. They turn onto the right heading and get it moving fast. They spin down onto finals and land early and get off on the first exit from the runway and get to the terminal fast. All done smoothly and well.

The cost is cheap because they sell seats at auction and the seats are full [normally].

There are no meals, drinks and they have the cabin well organized. But they could make the colour scheme more pleasant which would cost nothing.

The Ryanair boss says the recession is good because while they might lose money for a while, other airlines will go broke and close, leaving lots more business and profits for Ryanair when the recession is over. That's what I like to hear.

Paying for toilets is a good idea. Those who can organize themselves should enjoy cheaper travel. Ryanair flights are mostly just an hour or two, so meals and in-flight services are not needed. They are like a city bus ride.

They should have Zenbu Wi-Fi/mobile phone/Globalstar service though. Being off-line for an hour or two is ridiculous. It's the 21st century!!
