After reading the bio of Del Smith, founder of Evergreen Aviation, I'm thinking Dexter is rubbing elbows with some mighty fine people. siliconinvestor.com OT & FWIW: Captain Michael King Smith, for whom the air museum was posthumously renamed, was president of the museum when they were getting the Hughes H-4 Hercules (Spruce Goose). He was an F-15 pilot of the 123rd Fighter Squadron “Redhawks” at the time of his death. Killed in an auto accident in '95 at the age of 29.
