To Chirodoc and John, I seem to have osteoarthritis through process of elimination. It is also called, I believe, a baker's cyst. I had a special e-ray with a dye which did not show any torn cartilidge. I have no sharp pain, but a stiffness and ache in the leg which I could normally live with. However, I play serious tennis and I am always a step too late, and I'm losing to guys I shouldn't lose to and this is what causes most of the pain.
I saw my doctor this morning. We agreed to rest the leg another 10 days, and if there is no progress I'll start with the injections.
While waiting to see the doctor I had a long conversation with a fellow who was waitning to have his second of three shots. He was amazed with the progress after the first shot. He had been prepared to look for progress only after the third shot. Before the first shot he was barely able to walk. When I saw him he had a slight limp. The doctor told me he has given approximately 300 treatments, with a success rate of approximately 70%. By success rate I suppose he meant significant progress.
Chirodoc, in regard to the increase in sales, I suppose it is a subjective reaction. I'll look forward to the next quarter results.
Regards and thanks for the good wishes.
